The world is coming to an end. Humanity has been stricken with a hellish plague
capable of raising corpses from the dead, driven with the mad desire to feast on
living human flesh. Fortunately for mankind, zombies are slow and stupid. But
what they lack in brainpower, they more than make up for in numbers. It'll take
every last ounce of your creativity to survive in the world of
Quarantine: Total Zombie Apocalypse.

Survival Tactics in an Undead World
Contrary to popular belief, ammunition cannot be found in every storage locker,
and health packs cannot heal all wounds in an instant. In Quarantine, your only
assets are your wits and ingenuity - though these will take you far. Plenty of
kerosene and empty bottles on hand? Some Molotov cocktails may clear things up
a bit. Or maybe that baseball bat would be more effective with some nails
driven through it. The boards on those windows aren't going to hold them back
forever, you know.
Zombies Suck when You're Not One
...But being a member of the undead hordes can be a whole lot of fun. Forget
any plans you had for becoming humanity's savior - there's carnage afoot!
Certain secrets and game modes can be unlocked only by doing the things that
zombies do so well - devouring the living, and dying in spectacular (and bloody)
ways.
The Enemy of my Enemy...
Several unique multiplayer game modes will be available, mostly involving either
fighting off a horde of zombies, or trying to turn your friends into one. "Last
Man Standing" is a multiplayer scenario set well after the initial outbreak. A
group of humans must fend off an every-growing mass of undead, with points
awarded for every zombie killed and for whoever survives the longest. The
"Containment" scenario is set earlier in the story, just after the initial
outbreak. A small player-controlled group of zombies begins to feast amidst a
panicked populace, while player-controlled humans try to contain the outbreak.
An advanced crowd-control engine will allow for an unprecedented variety of
cooperative, competitive, and team-based multiplayer game types.

Technical Mumbo-Jumbo
Quarantine is currently in the pre-production phase of development. We are
working with Valve Software's Source engine to build a quick and dirty gameplay
demo, with plans to ramp up to full development once the demo is complete and
we've signed with a publisher. We are aiming to release the full version of
Quarantine for both the PC and major consoles.
But in the meantime we invite you to take an in- depth look at the game's
progression through concept art, story and character information, and
occasionally playable mini-levels. (Check here for
current content.) And be sure to visit our forums.
